Hi,

Is there any progress on changing how the registration tabs work?

Sorry we not have "step by step" feature, we plan to make this in future.

And how can i hide the username and password field when users are trying to edit there profile?

Partially, Easy Profile extends Joomla user profile, so registration and edit profile pages are the same of Joomla. Joomla require both these fields in form. You can only disable modification of username field from Users->Manage->Options. You may think to hide these to fields via CSS.
