No, I found the problem.
You have deleted default core field group. The core field group is mandatory because it have some hidden information like id of user

Hi,

I'm having this same problem. I get "Save failed with the following error: Please enter your name."
when I try to add a user from the backend.

I restored every thing in the trash, but still get the error. So, I disabled the users plugin and I'm able to add users as usual.

Next, I reinstalled easy profile, but no luck -- I get the error again. I disabled the users plugin again - and again everything works (but I'm missing most of the profile).

Not sure what to now! I'd appreciate your help.

Thanks

Hi,
ok I found your problem.

name is required by Joomla, this is a hidden field into "default" fieldgroup (you called this "Login Info";).

on backend username and password field are into "Account Details" tab (Joomla System Tab), so "Login Info" group is not loaded.

To solve this you can reverse the "Login Info" with "Homeowner Name(s)":
- Move Firstname and "Last Name" fields into "Login Info" fieldgroup
- Move Username,Password,Registered date and Last visit date fields into "Homeowner Name(s)" fieldgroup
- Rename "Login Info" and "Homeowner Name(s)" fieldgroups

I see what you mean about the default group and very much appreciate your help. I made the switch you recommended and it's working well. Thanks for the quick response! I agree with Nathan's earlier comment - EXCELLENT support!
