Hello, thanks for the support.

I would like to redirect a user to a "thanks page" after the registration with the social media (google or Facebook). I only find a way to set the REDIRECT after LOGIN or FIRST LOGIN. The issue I find is that a user that register with the social media, immediately get into the "login redirection". But a user that use the registration form get redirect to the "thank Page". I could use the "redirection after first login" to take the user to the thanks page, but if the user didn't use the social media login, then the first time the user log in its gonna go to the thanks page.

¿How can I solve this?

Thanks a lot

Hi,
Redirect after login is an obsolete feature because since Joomla 3.6 each login menu item or login module allow you to set a specific redirect (better than a global redirect).
Also, in your case a "Thank you" page is something closer to the redirect after the first login, can I ask you why you prefer that users with a normal registration (no social) should not be redirected to thank you page? maybe I can suggest you some workaround for your specific purpose :)

Hi,
please try to install this simple plugin and enable it:
- Install it like a normal component
- Go to Extensions->Plugins
- search by "plg_skeleton"
- enable it

This plugin should remove the first login redirect for users registered with a normal way (no social) so you can set the first login redirect and it will works only for social registration.
