Resolved Reduce required registration fields

Hello and congratulations on your extension. I know that "name" is required by joomla, but is there a way to not show nor require "first name" and "last name" in registration page? I mean apart from hack code. Before purchasing easy-profile I used to override login page template to include "name" as a hidden field with an arbitrary value, as my site doesn´t need "name" field and I prefer quick and easy registration.

Hi,
Easy Profile extends Joomla user management (not replace) and name is required by Joomla. You can only remove lastname and leave only "Name" (like Joomla). To remove this you can set "Name Style" to "Only Name" from Easy Profile configuration.

Of course all it's possible, for example you can do something like this:
- Set Default value for Firstname field like "NoName"
- Hide Firstname field via CSS style
- Set in Easy Profile configuration the parameter "Display Format Name" to "Username"
