Hi there,

I want to be able to add links to the user profile in the backend, that are not visible on registration, but that are visible when users view their profile (they are affiliate links that I need to customize.)

1) how do I do this?
2) how do I create a separate tab for "my links"?
3) Can I use html to create the links? So build them in Code view, and have a keyword as the visible link instead of the actual URL.

In addition, I want the following to be hidden from view for users: User Actions Log Options and Basic Settings. They have no need to access those at all. Are they visible by default, or only to Super Users?

Thanks,

Tamara

Hi,
and sorry for late reply.

Sorry but I does not understood well, do you need to display this tab in backend? or you need to display it in frontend with links to backend?

Tip: you can create a new tab called "my links" with a field of type HMTL delimiter to show a custom HTML code in a field position, if you need to show this tab only in profile page then you can set all the fields in this tab to only show in profile page (no registration or edit profile).
See screenshot, docs at http://docs.easy-profile.com/index.php/article/html-delimiter-field-type

Disable "User Actions Log Options":
- Go to Extensions->Plugins
- Disable Plugin called "System - User Actions Log"
Disable "Basic Settings"
- Go to Users->Manage
- Go to Option
- Set to "No" the parameter called "Frontend User Parameters"
