I have a registration form for users and the password and confirm password fields are not displaying the red star next to them. This is also happening when you try to edit your profile. I inspected the code and found that the labels for the fields are marked as optional. I looked in the profile.xml file under the com_jsn and found that the password entries did not have required=true I added it and it did not fix the issue. I also looked at joomla's com_user profile.xml and added the password entries required=true and it did not fix the issue. I am not sure where you need to go to fix this issue?

Can you please post me your site link?

This is normal, in edit profile password is not required. User can fill these fields only for change password, he can leave blank to keep current password

Hi,
I see your site, your registration is not managed directly from Easy Profile or Joomla, the original registration page (Joomla registration page) is here https://www.bhcfe.org/index.php/user-profile?view=registration and asterisk works.

Try to contact your template provider or vendor of this registration module.
