Hi,

Ive just setup the triggers to send admin notification emails on create/edit account, containing all the custom fields.

This works fine, id just like to have a different subject in the notification email (for admin) when a user creates an account or modifys the account,

ie.
Subject for the email when user registers would be:
New user has registered

Subject for the email when user edits profile would be:
User has edited there account

I found this post, which will send a notification email to admin ONLY on account modication, but as I say id like to have them both running seperately or at least the subject customised as explained above.

Your assistance would be much appreciated, thanks in advance!

Hi,
to see if the user is new you can use variable "$isNew" so:

if($isNew){
$subject='New user has registered';
}
else{
$subject='User has edited there account';
}

JFactory::getMailer()->sendMail(
$user->email, // Sender Mail
$user->name, // Sender Name
‘YourEmail@Address.com’, // Receiver Mail
$subject, // Subject Mail
$user->name.' updated user profile.' // Body Mail
);

If $isNew is true then New user has registered.
If $isNew is false then User has edited there account.
