Hi guys...

(this is my second time writing this post, the first one when I hit submit disappeared and said invalid token I believe... :( )

I have my site setup with several directories and I am trying to set one central directory to store all avatars.

My site has a central membership directory that all the other directories pull the user information, sessions, permissions and fields from.

EasyProfile is the only extension that has allowed me to do what I needed to do to manage my site and I'm very impressed. (I've already tried CB & JS and neither allow me to do what I needed) So, thank you for that!

I need to be able to display the users Avatar on several directories without having to figure out how to upload them to each directory individually.

I found a couple other posts similar to what I need but they are both from 2015 and I was hoping there may have been some changes or options available to allow me to do what I need to.

Basically, I want to have a single directory store the avatars. So I need to somehow tell EasyProfile that is uploaded on each of the directories to upload the file to the main directory.

I tried changing the image path per this post, but ti didnt work (see attachments)
https://www.easy-profile.com/support/image-field-path-override.html

I looked in the /administrator/components/com_jsn/helpers/fields/image.php file per this post but haven't a clue where to do anything... (Sorry not really a developer...)
https://www.easy-profile.com/support/different-image-directory-for-each-user.html

Could someone maybe direct me to where I can change the upload path for the images, please?

Thanks so much!

Adina

Hi,
can you explain me better what you mean with "calling them from a different site directory"?

Hi, I already tried that and it only makes folders in the image folder with that path...

I'm referring to basically saving the images on another database and calling them from a different site directory.

Hi and sorry for late reply, it's a weekend :D

I don't know if I have understood correctly your question, anyway Easy Profile already stores all avatar in a single directory.
You can choose in which directory Easy Profile store avatars in "Upload Path" parameter (visible also in your screenshot), but unfortunately the correct values could be something like "membership/images/profiler/" instead something like "http://site.com/membership/images/profiler/";
