Hi,
I am experimenting with the user map module.
What i learned so far is that the user map respects the privacy settings: which is good :)
but the downside is that the user map only shows a very (!) limited number of 'pins'.

Is it possible to show all 'pins' for users who have entered their address but when they have turned on privacy NOT show their user name / avatar / profile when clicking on the pin?

That way we can have a full view of where our users are coming from and those who want to be anonymous will be by setting their privacy option?

Just wondering if this is possible / makes sense.

thanks for any pointers / thinking along.

Hi,
yes this is possible with some limitations,
- create a map field not displayed on profile(with privacy disabled)
- create a field of type radio with this options
1|Show pin with profile
2|Show only pin

Now you can override output of maps module, copy /modules/mod_jsnmap/tmpl/default.php into /templates/your_template_folder/html/mod_jsnmap/default.php

edit new default.php to show info only if radio field is set to 1 (docs at https://www.easy-profile.com/docs/38-jsnuser-object.html). In this file there is a function called infowindow, so you change output with simple if statement.
if($user->getValue('alias_of_radio_field')==2) return 'Private Profile'
