Resolved comments in profile

Is there a way to get comments (Komento or JComments) in a profile or I should write a special plugin to do this? I mean that users could add comments to a profile of other users. Thanks in advance.

You can use "disqus".. No Joomla extension needed. Just go to disqus website and register a free website account. The lay-out is generally clean to fit your style, but you can customize a bit. Just cut and paste the general code into a bottom position. The best thing of disquss is that it's messages are linked to a specific URL, so besides articles very easy to use on profile pages.

cons: when logged in; the profile page view does not add username in URL in "profile view". So the "public" profile view message are not shown to the profile owner. Only when he checks his profile through site navigation.

Hi,
thanks for your reply Dennis,

for now there is no any integration with some Joomla comment component.

the best way to do this is to override profile page template and add some code to add comment (Disqus or any other comment component that allow this)

To override our default template you can copy /components/com_jsn/views/profile/tmpl/default.php into /templates/your-template-folder/html/com_jsn/profile/default.php. now you can customize the new file and add some code to render comment at the end of page.

With Joomla override when you update Easy Profile the changes are not lost
