Good evening.
I have 2 gmap fields in the same group. A radio conditionally decides which one to show.
However, if I edit from Joomla backend the second gmap field, which I created last, after the first one, I get the message you see in the title. The field alias is "town", for same reason the message comes up with "town_Ing".
Isn't that maybe I can't have more than one gmap field? What does the error mean?
You can see the error in the attachment.

Thanks, I can't. It's offline. I have 2 identical sites and I got this problem only with one of them. Can't get why.

I am recreating the field and I am stumbling on the error you see in the attachment. Does it have anything to do with the issue we're dealing with in this thread?

Hi,
you have reached MySQL hard limit.
In the Easy Profile user table each field create one or more column. Unfortunately MySQL have a hard limit that not allow you to create infinite columns.

To solve this you can:
1) remove trashed fields (see screenshot)
2) with a tool like phpMyAdmin you can change type of column in the table #__jsn_users from VARCHAR to TEXT (only for columns related to Text field type)

Would it make it some room for further fields?
Yes, Mysql TEXT type is not counted in table length.

Can you clarify this please?
Yes, do you use phpMyAdmin to manage databases? if yes then we can send you some screenshots, otherwise which tool do you use?

Hi,
see screenshots

- Select table "#__jsn_users"
- Go to "Structure"
- You can convert to TEXT type all column of type VARCHAR (we recommend to convert only Easy Profile text field type), to do this click to "Change" link
- Select new type ("TEXT";)
- Save
