Hi,

it is not so, every day you should receive Notification Summary with notifications about likes and comments (basically all notifications that are not readed). Instead request and invitations emails are sent immediately.

OK, but is there also a notification for "A new 'Whats new' message"?

No sorry, in this case not. We does not want that a message send many notifications to many users, this sound like SPAM.

Anyway you will receive a notification if:
- User write something in your profile wall
- User comment your message in 'Whats new' section

You could make the notification optional (system setting).

I my case it is a must to 'drag' the members to the site, they are really disappointed that this notification is missing.
