Resolved Select Field in Table Listing not showing

Am not sure if bug or am missing something.
We have a drop down select option field, with 3 options.
Option1|option1
Option2|option2
Option3|option3

Tried Multiple selection on & off ( prefer on)
This IS published, viewable on profile Set to public,Nothing tuned on within the parameters etc..
{ I would actually like this field to be populated based on the users usergroup, as these are in fact the same names used for usergroups . but another time}
However the field does NOT show on the listing
no matter what. ( either by it self in a column, under others)

Any thoughts ?

I checked your configuration and everything seems ok, I also did some tests on my site and it works. I can not understand the problem. can you please send me ftp access? I want debug your site to find the problem.

Created the dir and uploaded file, I can confirm the field now shows..
Will re-set how I wish the list to really look now that is working and let you know if anything changes.

Did find another issue, but may not be related not sure..
On ANOTHER select field, When ever I try to update the field, I always get waring " Error on save "positions_held" field, try to recreate a field!
Where obviously my field is the Positions held. This is a simple select; published, viewable on profile, Set to public,Nothing tuned on within the parameters etc..
However there are 15 options.
I have deleted, emptied trash & re-created numerous times.
Any Thoughts?

I have tried on your site and no problem.

You can see in components->easy profile.

I have created a select called Positions held (no published).

If this problem persist please contact me, but I need to see the error.

I should have mentioned, this was on a test site, not the same one.
However it appears the latest update fixed the issue. I noticed on the fields list, it showed an error, unable to create column.
Once I deleted the field for the 4th time and re-created. it now appears to work.

In regard to the helper file and this latest update, Do we keep this file & folder in place, OR does the latest update overwrite it?
