Dear people of EP,

1. I know i can add maxlength to a text (input) form. But i need a textarea, but need to maximize the amount of characters used. A simpel add with the html tag textarea > "maxlength=' will do. but where can i put it for a specific field?

2. I also would like the text area to have a width of 100% (responsive) and a fixed height of let's say 200px
I tried to fix this within my custom.css but width 100% width i need a container to set the height? I don't know how to fix this.

Thanks

With regards,

Dennis

I in future we will implement this, we use the Joomla jForm to genetare textarea, but Joomla not have a attribute maxlenght for this type of field (you can check this on /libraries/joomla/form/fields/textarea.php). I think because this attribute work only on HTML5 browser. For input field work even on HTML4.

I also would like the text area to have a width of 100% (responsive) and a fixed height of let's say 200px
