Resolved email IS the USERNAME with SEF

Search Engine Friendly URLs Where email IS the USERNAME
On the User list(s) when our users login is using email, the url becomes the email address.
This does not work as a valid url which loads a 500 error.
What work around do you offer for situations like this, where our users use their email address for their username ?
While keeping SEF on.?
When SEF is off, works fine, however this is NOT an option.

Because your user have email equal to username?
in easy profile if you go in option and set login with mail, when user registrer thier account the username is generated by firstname and lastname, not email.

the username must never be e-mail, in many joomla component the username is displayed and this is good for SPAMBOT!!!

if you want Easy Profile and you want use username as email you can replace the file /components/com_jsn/route.php with file attached to this post (unzip first).

I would like to use the first name and the ID within the url.

Such as: firstname_1222

for seo purposes it would be ideal to include some keyoword also such as:

Such as: SEO_firstname_SEO1222

btw in what folder would I place the rooter file in order not to get patched when component is updated?

Hi,
No problem, on monday(maybe tomorriw) i will send you a new router.php

Sorry but on every update you must replace the file. No way!

Here is attached the router.php
With this the format of url is "id-username". I have choose this format because is format of Joomla Article SEF
